District II Club Tops AMA Site Grants!

The 2015 AMA Flying Site Development Grant winners were announced Friday May 1, 2015, and District II's 350th Flying Circus of Phillipsburg, New Jersey ranked first with the best scoring application! Among the 33 clubs nationwide receiving grants, five were District II clubs including the 350th Flying Circus, the Rochester Aero Modeling Society of Rochester, New York, the Tri-County Eagles of Mahopac, New York, the Syracuse Thunderbirds Aero Radio Society of Syracuse, New York, and the Batavia Radio Control Flying Club of Batavia, New York.

This year alone AMA awarded $30,000 to clubs who participated in the Flying Site Development /Improvement Grant Program. Applying is easy! Even though grants have been awarded for 2015, you can apply for 2016. Your district vice president must receive your club’s application by March , 2016. Check out the grant application today!
