LIAMA AMA Chapter Launches New Site

The Long Island Aero Modelers Association (LIMA), a newly formed AMA District II Chapter serving Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island NY, and nearby areas, has launched a new website. LIAMA is open to all AMA model airplane clubs from Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties.

LIAMA's objective in the formation of such a chapter is to facilitate the unity and growth of the model aivation family within the region. The formation of this chapter gives our hobby a larger voice in areas such as local government and our local communities. Each member of each club has access to far more resources and information, and this helps to secure the future of our hobby and our flying sites.
