AMA and FAA Team-Up for Know Before You Fly Campaign

On Monday, Dec. 22, leading unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) industry and hobbyist groups, along with the FAA, hosted a teleconference to announce a new safety campaign. Just in time for the holidays, the UAS campaign provides prospective users of the technology with the information they need to fly safely and responsibly.

The campaign is being spearheaded by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, (AMA), the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AVUSI) and the SMALL UAV Coalition in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Visit: http://www.knowbeforeyoufly.org/
