Former District II Vice President Joe Beshar Passes On.

It is with great sadness that we pass along that former AMA District II VP, Joe Beshar passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Joe also served as AMA's first Flying Site Assistance Coordinator and was responsible for the MOU established between AMA and the EPA. Joe was an AMA Fellow, AMA Hall of Fame member, and recipient of the 2011 Westchester Radio Aero Modelers (WRAM Show), Howard McEntee Award. The AMA/EPA Partnership MOU was the basis for the EPA's Soaring the Superfund Skies Video.
